Authors reunite for fund-raising novella

Five years ago, Jeff Gerke gathered seven of his Marcher Lord Press authors for an ambitious project: to write a novella together, with the authors taking turns providing episodes of a continuous story using the same characters. Today some of those authors continue writing under Marcher Lord’s incarnation as Enclave Publishing.

On Jan. 1, 2018, we seven -- Morgan L. Busse, John W. Otte, Kerry Nietz, Steve Rzasa, Marc Schooley, Stuart Vaughn Stockton, Jill Williamson – will publish an updated version of that novella called Just Dumb Enough. Join famed archer Barzillai Broadhead as he leads an intrepid band of (mostly) heroic souls on a quest to rid the land of a dark curse.

Here’s the best part. We seven authors are splitting the profits between two worthy endeavors. Half the profits will be given to the Realm Makers Mobile Bookstore, so we can lend our support to Scott and Becky Minor’s speculative fiction evangelistic efforts.

The other half will form a scholarship that will help a future Realmie pay for registration

If we all pitch in, and share this story with the rest of the world, we can fulfill two very worthwhile dreams.
